ATTACK HR / HRS buffer tank

Heating-water storage and 160 l of domestic hot water.

The HR and HRS tanks combine heating-water storage with an internal enamelled 160-litre domestic hot water tank. A magnesium anode protects the tank from corrosion; the HRS range also includes a solar heat exchanger.

Buffer tank

The buffer tank helps the boiler operate at full output and higher efficiency. This can reduce fuel consumption and the formation of tar and acids during combustion, helping extend the service life of the boiler and chimney. The robot-welded tank is designed for a long service life. Choose from capacities of 445 to 1,800 litres; each model includes an internal 160-litre tank.

Along with storing heating water, the ATTACK HR buffer tank also prepares domestic hot water in its integrated enamelled 160-litre tank.

ATTACK HRS combines a buffer tank with an integrated enamelled 160-litre domestic hot water tank. The lower heat exchanger allows a solar system to be connected.

Two tanks in one casing

ATTACK HR and HRS tanks store heating water and also contain a separate internal enamelled tank holding 160 litres of domestic hot water. A magnesium anode helps protect it against corrosion, and a manual air vent is located at the top of the tank.

Different heating options

A buffer tank can be combined with different heating sources, such as electric heating, solar systems, or heat pumps. It can also be used with radiators or underfloor heating.

Buffer-tank insulation in a heating system

Thermal insulation

To help the buffer tank retain heat for as long as possible, every tank is supplied with a soft, removable insulation layer included in the price. The **100 mm** insulation consists of polyester fibre with a durable imitation-leather cover. It is fitted to the tank after installation and helps reduce heat loss.
