The heat pump ensures a pleasant temperature even in summer

Summer is the most favorite season for most of us, with its high heat. With climate change, temperatures are expected to rise in the coming decades. A pleasant room temperature is important for maximum concentration, hobbies and restful sleep. Maintaining a pleasant temperature in the home during the hot summer months will therefore be appreciated by the whole family.

The ATTACK heat pump, as one of the possible heating sources, effectively uses its full potential in the summer months. It cools the interior to a pleasant temperature using fan coil units, into which cold water flows from the heat pump.

How does heat pump cooling work?

ATTACK Inverter R32 air-to-water heat pumps provide the required temperature 365 days a year. The cooling process begins with the correct connection of the cooling system in the house. In this case, the service technician must connect the fan coil unit to the heat pump. The heat pump cools the water in the central heating system, which the fan coil unit cools with cold air to the premises of the family house to a comfortable temperature. In a properly designed cooling system, the sum of the fan coil units’ power does not exceed the cooling power of the heat pump.

ATTACK FCU fan coil units

Fan coil units are divided into wall units, which are installed on a vertical wall, and cassette units, which are installed in the ceiling, with only the panel with slats visible. The cassette fan coil unit is suitable for larger spaces, where it can distribute air in a four-way direction. Cooling control

The heat pump offers two options for controlling and setting the cooling mode.

1. The indoor unit has a five-inch display with full graphic and intuitive control, where you just need to select the cooling mode.

2. The popular ATTACK Heating mobile application ATTACK Heating offers control of the heat pump from
anywhere where it is connected to the Internet. You can cool your interior at any time, for example before coming home from work or on vacation. The application also offers timing of cooling on pre-selected days and at any time.

After setting up and cooling the central heating system with a heat pump, you just need to select the correct intensity of air cooling depending on the outside weather using the controller from the fan coil unit.

The potential of fan coil units

The system in which fan coil units are connected can be used for heating during the heating season. The pipes in which cold water flows in the summer can also be used in the winter. In the same central heating system, hot water flows in the winter and warm air flows from the fan coil unit. The heating can work simultaneously with underfloor heating or radiators.
